PPF Kuwait Marks World Quality Day with a Celebration of Excellence and Innovation

Kuwait, 15 November 2024 – The Progressive Professional Forum (PPF) Kuwait hosted a memorable celebration on World Quality Day at Mughal Mahal, Fahaheel, bringing together industry leaders and professionals to focus on the theme “Quality: From Compliance to Performance.” The event, aimed at highlighting the vital role of quality in building trust, driving innovation, and ensuring sustainability, featured a series of expert talks, interactive sessions, and ceremonial recognitions.

Moderated by PPF Vice-President Adv. Smitha Manoj, the event began with a warm welcome from PPF General Secretary Mr. Shaji Madathil. PPF President Mr. Prasanth Warrier highlighted the transformative impact of quality in achieving continuous improvement and excellence across industries.

Keynote speeches delivered by Mr. Ashish Kumar Jain on “Quality Improvement the Lean Six Sigma Way” and Mr. Valliappan on “Quality: The Infinite Attribute of Our Expectation” underscored the importance of integrating quality management into both daily operations and long-term strategies.

A highlight of the evening was the awarding of Level 2 certificates to 15 technicians who completed training in Liquid Penetrant Test and Magnetic Particle Testing under PPF’s Up-Skill Re-Skill series. The certificates were presented by Mr. S. Mathusoothanan (NDT Level 3), with Trainer Engineer Mr. P.B. Suresh outlining the program’s objectives and impact.

PPF also unveiled its E-Magazine, a collection of insightful articles celebrating the achievements of the organization and its members. The launch was led by Mr. Jeothish Cherian, Operations Manager at ARIES Oilfield Inspection and Consultation Company, alongside Joint Secretary Mr. Jithin Prakash and Magazine Editor Mrs. Sherly Sasi Rajan.

Special mementos were presented to trainers Mr. S. Mathusoothanan and Mr. P.B. Suresh for their dedication during the eight-week training program, as well as to guest speakers Mr. Ashish Kumar Jain and Mr. Valliappan for their engaging presentations. Mr. Viren (QC Intrex) was also recognized for his role in endorsing the certificates for trained welders.

Chief sponsor Mr. Praveen Sukumaran (Al Khalifi Joint Co.) was honored for their support.

The evening also included an emotional farewell ceremony for former PPF President Mr. G. Santhosh Kumar, who is leaving Kuwait. President Mr. Prasanth Warrier commended Mr. Santhosh Kumar’s invaluable contributions to the organization and the community. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by PPF Treasurer Mr. Sreejith Palakkurishi.
